Nav Maharashtra Yuva Abhiyan of Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai invites appilcations for Yashwant Yuva Fellowship with a motive to provide guidance and financial support to young social activists in Maharashtra, working creatively in the sectors of education, health, social, economically backward sections, employment, agriculture and water, environment, etc.
Some points to be noted:
- 4 activists will be chosen, one from each of Western Maharshtra, Konkan, Vidarbha and Marathwada.
- Fellowship period will be minimum 1 year and maximum 2 years.
- The age of the applicant should be between 25 and 35 years as on 6 February 2010.
- The applicant must be atleast a graduate.
- The applicant must have worked for minimum 5 years in the social sectorof Maharashtra through youth activities or organisations.
- Last date of application: 6 February 2010.
